In order to prevent the spread of illness, please keep your child at home whenever they aren’t feeling well.  Students must be free from fever for 24 hours without the use of ibuprofen or acetaminophen to attend school.

Other symptoms that should prevent a child from attending school are:

*cough, runny nose, a new cold with sore throat, rash, discharge from eyes or ears, or a stomachache

*illness that prevents your child from participating comfortably in school activities or requires additional care from the teachers

*signs/symptoms of illness, such diarrhea, vomiting, mouth sores, abnormal breathing, or behavior changes

Please see the full list on pages 37-38 of your Parent Handbook.

If your child is ill and will not attend school, please let us know in the school office by calling 817-732-0252 or sending an email office@msftw.org.
