Colored Wooden Sorting Cylinders

Set of four cylinder blocks to help children differentiate between size and shape. Any mistake in sorting the cylinders will become immediately apparent. Each natural hardwood block holds seven colored cylinders, which vary in dimensions in four different ways. Each block offers an opportunity for specific language concepts to be introduced: green cylinders — “large and small”; yellow cylinders — “short and wide to tall and thin”; red cylinders — “thick and thin”; and blue cylinders — “tall and short”. While similar to the Montessori knobbed and knobless cylinders, this set is a combination of the two exercises.
